There are numerous national welfare benefits available to financially assist those who are:

  • On a low income
  • Have children
  • Of pensionable age or
  • Unable to work due to an illness or disability.

These benefits are administered by a number of different public bodies which include Redditch Borough Council, The Department for Work and Pensions and The HMRC (formerly the Inland Revenue).
