Supermarket PACT meeting coming up
Redditch residents
will have another opportunity to raise issues directly with the
police and local authorities this week at the latest community
meeting to be held in a local supermarket.
The PACT (Partners and Communities Together)
event for residents of the Astwood Bank, Feckenham, Crabbs Cross,
Headless Cross, Oakenshaw and Webheath areas will take place in the
Tesco Extra on Coldfield Drive from 1pm to 7pm on Thursday January
26.
Representatives from West Mercia Police,
Redditch Borough Council and Worcestershire County Council will be
available at the event to discuss and record issues raised by
residents.
Redditch Borough Council leader Cllr Carole
Gandy, who will be at the meeting from 3pm until 4pm, said “It’s
time for our next PACT meeting in area, giving residents another
opportunity to come and speak directly to police and council
officers as well as councillors.
“The unusual supermarket setting has worked
well in the past and I’m looking forward to hearing from residents
on the day.”
