Supermarket PACT meeting coming up

Tesco roadshow carole gandyRedditch residents will have another opportunity to raise issues directly with the police and local authorities this week at the latest community meeting to be held in a local supermarket.

The PACT (Partners and Communities Together) event for residents of the Astwood Bank, Feckenham, Crabbs Cross, Headless Cross, Oakenshaw and Webheath areas will take place in the Tesco Extra on Coldfield Drive from 1pm to 7pm on Thursday January 26.

Representatives from West Mercia Police, Redditch Borough Council and Worcestershire County Council will be available at the event to discuss and record issues raised by residents.

Redditch Borough Council leader Cllr Carole Gandy, who will be at the meeting from 3pm until 4pm, said “It’s time for our next PACT meeting in area, giving residents another opportunity to come and speak directly to police and council officers as well as councillors.

“The unusual supermarket setting has worked well in the past and I’m looking forward to hearing from residents on the day.”
