Anti Social Behaviour

One of the biggest reported problems across the country
affecting communities is Anti Social Behaviour (ASB).
Every week incidents occur, new cases are reported and
resolutions are found.
However, for every incident reported, many more of these
incidents go un-reported and people feel that they simply have to
"put up" with behaviour that can destroy their lives and cause
disruption to the local communities.
With this in mind, in 2003 Redditch Borough Council created an
Anti Social Behaviour Team.
In the following pages we will:
- Explain what Anti Social Behaviour is, including the legal
definitions;
- Explain the different types of Anti Social Behaviour;
- Explain the tools and powers that are used to tackle Anti
Social Behaviour;
- Provide details of our team here at Redditch and our roles
and remit;
- Show how the team deal with incidents reported to us and
how to contact us;
- Provide details of our partners, how you can contact them and
how we work together to tackle ASB
