Why does Redditch Borough Council have a Constitution?
All Councils are legally required to prepare and update a Consitution.
The Council's Constitution sets out how the Council operates and how decisions are made. The Constitution also contains information about the procedures that the Council uses to ensure that its services are efficient, transparent and accountable to the people of Redditch.
The Constitution is reviewed and updated on a regular basis.
