Petitions can be submitted to Redditch Borough Council at the address shown under the 'Contact us' heading at the foot of the page.

If you wish to submit a petition (as 'Lead Petitioner'), please read the Petitions Scheme for more information.

A paper petition can be submitted using the pro forma available from the Council. However, you can now submit, or add your name to, a petition via this website. See below for more information.

e-Petitions

As of 15th December 2010, a change in the law requires the Council to make available an online petition facility for use by people who live in, work in, study or regularly visit the Borough.

An e-Petition is a petition which can be signed online. The Council welcomes petitions and recognises that they are one way in which our customers can inform us of their concerns.

e-Petitions are a quick and easy way of enabling this and demonstrates the Council's wish to involve and engage with local residents and visitors to the Borough. Anyone with an interest in the Borough of Redditch, whether you live, work or study here, or even if you are a visitor, can create and / or sign an e-Petition.

If you create an e-Petition, you will have to supply us with a few details so that we can contact you about the e-Petition. Information which is provided to us will only be used for the purposes of dealing with your petition. If you sign an e-Petition on this website, you will need to supply very basic details so that we can 'verify' that signatures collected are genuine, and only your name will appear on the web-site.
