Plastics Recycling
Trying to recycle your plastic can seem very complicated
as there are over 50 different common household 'blends' of
plastic.
If you have a green recycling wheeled bin, you can place all of
your plastic bottles and containers in this bin for
recycling. Unfortunately there is no process at this time
to recycle black plastic so this will need to go into
your grey wheeled bin.
If you do not have a green bin, and wish to recycle your plastic
then please be advised there is an 100Ltr bin at the Church Hill
shopping Centre off Rickyard Lane which you can use.
We will endeavour to provide the whole of Redditch with a
recycling collection where we can.
What can we recycle in the Green wheeled
bins?
So we can continue to provide this service it is critical
that all items are clean with no food waste remains and that no
carrier bags are placed in this bank. You do not need to
squash any of the bottles or cans that go into your green wheeled
bin.
