Do you want to compost your kitchen waste, but don't have the space for a composter, wormery or green cone? Then think about getting a Kitchen Waste Disposal Unit - the under-sink alternative.
Worcestershire County Council are offering an opportunity for residents from both counties to claim upto £80 towards the cost of purchasing and installing a kitchen waste disposal unit.
The offer applies ONLY to BEAB or BS EN 60335-2-16 approved units installed after 1st April 2005.
The best way of dealing with this type of waste in an environmentally friendly way is to purchase a green cone for your garden - please visit www.greencone.com for more information. These are subsidised by the county council.
