The Home Office suggest that ‘people's understanding of anti-social behaviour is based on individual perception and can encompass a range of behaviours’ (Defining and Measuring Anti-Social Behaviour, 2004).

Comprehensive Performance Assessment

Comprehensive Performance Assessment (CPA) is a new type of central government inspection of local councils.It is part of the improvement agenda set out in the 2001 Local Government White Paper,and brings together evidence from a range of sources to assess the quality of councils’ performance. Unlike Best Value inspections of individual services, CPA considers councils as a whole and places them in a category of excellent, good, fair, weak or poor, depending on its findings.

This plan sets out the aims and objectives of the Borough Council for the next 3 years. The council wants to lead a successful and vibrant borough, providing a strong voice for Redditch and relevant and responsive services. We recognise that it is impossible for the Council to achieve its vision for Redditch without the help of other agencies and the goodwill of the community. The Corporate Plan sets practical objectives, which can be measured by Councillors, the public, and our partners. These objectives are demanding and are set within a context of limited resources. However, all are considered achievable and necessary to fulfill our vision.
