Redditch Recruitment

Current Job Vacancies

All jobs are placed on the website, and with the Employment Service, and also advertised in the most cost-effective and appropriate choice of local and national media, depending on the job.

Applicants are selected on the basis of the Person Specification for each job, and staff carrying out recruitment are all trained in fair selection techniques.

As an employer we try and make sure all staff are treated fairly, with robust employment policies that promote best practice. We also put a lot of energy into promoting staff training and development (including plenty of in house training opportunities, opportunities to study for qualifications and on-the-job training including secondments and mentoring) and also protecting the health, welfare and safety of our staff. The total job package includes access to the Local Government

Pension Scheme, one of the best in the country, as well as recognising the work life balance through decent leave entitlements and, where appropriate, flexibility over working hours.

For an application form for any of the jobs advertised by us contact the recruitment line on (01527) 534117, write to Office Services at Redditch Borough Council or e-mail us at recruitment

Redditch Borough Council's detailed equal opportunities policy opposes all forms of unlawful or unfair discrimination on the grounds of colour, race, nationality, gender, marital status, age, disability, sexual orientation and political beliefs.
