Redditch Crematorium is situated on the northern boundary of the town adjacent to the site of Bordesley Abbey. Its magnificent location on top of a hill overlooking the Arrow Valley Park uniquely offers outstanding views of the surrounding Worcestershire countryside from the chapel. Redditch railway station enjoys the benefit of half-hourly service from Birmingham New Street and is then 5 minutes taxi journey away. For further directions. The building has been designed to fit into its natural setting and in its design uses many natural materials such as Welsh grey slate, copper cedar and pine wood. The lofty and spacious chapel is of simple design with pews for seating eighty people.
Facilities include an induction loop system, ramps for wheelchairs, parking for eighty cars, (including disabled parking bays) , an organ, CD player, tape player, and a televisual relay from the chapel to the waiting area for those funerals where the numbers attending exceeds the seating and standing capacity of the chapel.
