There are a number of ways in which Redditch Borough Council can provide support including the loan of videos and other educational and supportive material.

Guide for School Fete's/Events - How to make your event less wasteful
Below are a number of hints and tips for the keen recycler - thank you to everyone who has suggested ideas and please keep them coming!
If you have a number of items left over at the end of the day please do not just throw them away - many people would be glad to have them, or they may be recyclable.
- Charity Shops - clothes, books, bric a brac etc. will be gladly accepted by your local charity shop
- Textiles which are unsuitable for re-use can be taken to any of the green textile banks at recycling centres in Redditch where they will be shredded and used as rags.
- Cardboard Boxes and Hardback books which are unsuitable for re-use can be recycled in the green paper banks in Recycling Centres across Redditch, and at some schools. Raffle tickets can also be recycled this way.
- Electical items - please see the electrical recycling webpage (accessible from the homepage)
- Consider asking people to take their cans/plastic bottles home with them for recycling.
- Foil can be recycled in with cans in the kerbside recycling boxes or in the yellow can banks across town.
