Plastics Recycling
Trying to recycle your plastic can seem very complicated as there are over 50 different common household 'blends' of plastic.
If you have a green recycling wheelie bin, you can place all of your plastic bottles in this bin for recycling. If its bottle shaped and has a top, then you can recycle it via the green bin.
If you do not have a green bin, or wish to recycle more of your plastic packaging waste, please take them to one of the following recycling centres:
- Headless Cross (Shoppers Car Park)
- Tesco (Oakenshaw)
- Sainsbury’s (Enfield)
- Morrisons (near Ipsley)
- B&Q (Smallwood)
What can we recycle here?
The following is an extract from posters on the plastic banks:
So we can continue to provide this service it is critical that
