What is Council Tax Benefit

Help towards paying your Council Tax

• Administered and paid by local councils
• You do not have to be in receipt of any other benefits
• You can still get Council Tax Benefit even if you already get a discount on your Council Tax bill.
• It does not cover help with mortgage costs.
