It started with a council JCB clearing away huge mounds of rubbish. It carried on with concerned local residents continuing to clean up, restore and celebrate a much loved national monument . Now, the group of Church Hill residents have been awarded a local heritage initiative grant of around £24 thousand for their work on one of Redditch’s most significant archeological and ecological sites: the medieval Moons Moat.
Redditch Borough Council is preparing to send out new travel passes as the new national concessionary fares scheme starts on April 1st.
