Gemma, Laura and Paul are your first points of contact for all media enquiries. They also prepare the media releases you receive and manage our media monitoring service, so they’re always ‘in the loop’ about media issues.

Journalists with enquiries outside normal office hours, that need to be dealt with before the next working day, should call the duty Press Officer on 07947 407151.

The Marketing & Communications Unit is managed by Katharine and our day-to-day work is overseen by our two Team Leaders, Carole and Kirsten.

General Marketing & Communications

We also have six senior officers who each look after the marketing and communications of a particular part of the council. They work closely with staff and councillors in their relevant area and often work with Gemma, Laura and Paul to answer enquiries.
