Youth Support - Bridget CooperA key role is to achieve better outcomes for young people through the universal provision of youth work activities. A key responsibility is to work with partners to implement Clause 6 of the Education and Inspections Bill. Another key responsibility is to continue to promote the participation and active engagement of children and young people in service design and delivery across Children’s Services and other partners, particularly through the implementation of the Hear by Right standards. Early Years & Childcare - Alison HitchinsThis service is to ensure that we meet the requirements of the Childcare Act 2006. This includes maintaining early years and childcare places for all those children who wish to use them, delivering information to families and supporting improved outcomes for under fives. 16+ Targeted Service - Simon RushallThis service is responsible for the provision of care-leavers, as well as strategic leadership on both the Teenage Pregnancy and Parenting Support Strategies. |
Community Capacity Development - Peter SuggThis service is responsible for developing Partnerships to support Children and Young People in Communities. A broad range of activities will be developed in partnership with parish councils, district councils and the voluntary and community sector. The service is also responsible for supporting the Children and Young People's Strategic Partnership and the reference and working groups, which support its work programme.
