Half day Tours to the City of Worcester
Travelling
into Worcestershire from the north-west then why not also visit one of the following.
- Tenbury
Wells – Surrounded by lovely orchards in the Teme Valley and Burford House Gardens close by. Visit time between 1.5 to 2.5 hours if including a refreshment stop.
- Bewdley
– Attractive small Georgian town on the banks of the River Severn, including Bewdley Museum with its
demonstrations of rope making and clay pipe making. Visit time around 2 hours if including some shopping, browsing time and a refreshment stop.
- Worcestershire
County Museum – Tells Worcestershire’s story from prehistoric to the twentieth century and is
housed in the magnificent surroundings of Hartlebury Castle. Visit time between 1 to 2 hours if including a refreshment stop.
- Witley
Court (English Heritage) – Spectacular ruined house with magnificent fountains set in restored
gardens. Visit time between 1 to 2 hours if including visit to the adjoining Baroque Church and light refreshment
stop.
