* Popular women's enterprise event is back
Worcestershire County Council will be hosting its annual Women s Enterprise event at Worcester Racecourse on November 19th, 2008 between 9am and 3pm.
* Trio of events aim to mark Black History Month
Residents are being invited by Worcestershire County Council to celebrate Black History Month at three of the county s libraries later this month (October).
* Grants help voluntary groups cut down on landfill waste
Worcestershire County Council has given another boost to organisations that promote re-use and recycling with a further award of a Voluntary and Community Sector grant, this time in Worcester.
* Conference to help schools enhance parental engagement
Worcestershire County Council is holding a special event for headteachers and governors this week to offer local and national advice on engaging parents more fully in whole school development.
* Cider making at the County Museum
Visitors to Worcestershire County Council s County Museum are set for a refreshing experience at the annual Cider Making Day later this month.
